The State Legislature

 The 13^th Finance Commission has sanctioned an amount of  Rs.50.00 Crores for construction of new Assembly Complex at Jammu .The said amount shall be made available to the state during the year 2011-12. Land/site has been identified. The designs had been sought from the architects/consultants through MD JKPCC and same are under consideration before the high power committee constituted for that purpose. Six consultants /architects made presentation before high power committee and three were short listed. A committee has been  constituted to technically examine these designs and submit comprehensive report for approval. Thereafter, presentation will be made by the short listed consultants before Hon’ble Chief Minister/ Hon’ble Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs in the presence of Hon’ble  Presiding Officers of the two Houses of the State Legislature for approval etc.
